Research group

Kammari-association and research group is an independent collective of researchers and artists, based in Finland and Cyprus. The group consists of the core people portrayed below and a collaborating network of researchers and artists around the world.

Our general aim is to combine critical academic research to contemporary art practices, as well as, to create art projects and spaces that aim to discover inclusivity and sustainability.

We have ongoing collaborations with several arts organisations, companies and artists in Cyprus, such as NiMAC, NeMe Art Centre, Pelma Lia Haraki, etc.

Apart from our individual projects and artistic work, we work collectively on mutual research projects. More information on the projects: kammari.org

In terms of documentation and publications, we aim to create and support continuous long-term research, critical dialogue and public exhibition of contemporary art and research combined.
