The residency coordinators are also active artists and researchers. We work on individual projects and on one mutual in-house research project combining arts and academic research.
The in-house research projects are long term and primarily take place in the Kammari-residency.
The research project for 2018 is called Technology as Ideology. The process concentrates in critically understanding the causes and effects of technological progress in our lives. What are the hidden desires behind our relation to technology? How technology affects our lives, thinking, relatedness, but also essentially what does it reveal of our current relatedness, psychology and ideology?
It has as a basic premise, that the core of the desires, emotions and fears manifest as technology, but originate from the shortcomings in the relations between humans.
